Road Naming ceremony “Paramahansa Yogananda Marg” in front of the Shraddhanand Peth Kendra, Nagpur
· On 2nd of October, 2011, a public road, adjacent to our Nagpur Kendra, was named after our beloved Gurudev’s name, as “Paramahansa Yogananda Marg”
· The ceremony was performed by the chief guest Shri Sandeep Joshi, President of the Standing Committee of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and prominent Sr. Citizen of locality and all India reputed eye surgeon of City, Hon’ble Dr. Ishwarchandraji,
· Nagpur Municipal Corporation has unanimously passed the resolution for naming of the said road in the name of Guruji, for which local Corporator Smt. Chhayatai Gade made special efforts. The length of the said road is about 150 meters.
· At the beginning, Sri Sunil Shrivastava, a devotee gave brief account of the activity of Society and local centre, which is running since more than 25 years. Thereafter, the chief guest made very brief remarks.
· Before the function, an invitation card, with one of the Guruji’s, how to live series booklet, a coloured brochure issued by Ashram, giving gist of activity of the YSS, was distributed along with the invitation card.
Around 100 devotees, family members and local residents participated in the brief function held at the venue. After function, Prasad was distributed.
